Wooden Chairs with Built-In Antibacterial Protection - ideal for healthcare settings.

An exciting new addition to our range for 2009 is a range of wood framed seating and complementary tables, the frames of which have been treated with the independently tested Hygeinilac Anti-bacterial Lacquer. This Laquer is 99.9% effective against many identified bacteria (eg salmonella, E.Coli, MRSA and C DIF) and goes on working for the life of the coated surface (up to 10 years).

Concern about infection control is growing and while it's primary focus is in environments such as hospitals, care homes or in catering establishments, there is also increasing interest from consumers for products that offer protection in other work places.

Up to now there has not been a way to protect wood surfaces such as furniture, doors and floors from bacteria. But that’s now changed with the introduction of a new biocidially proactive wood lacquer called Hygienilac.

Hygeinilac has received a point 3 award from the NHS Infection Control Rapid Review Panel (Surface Coating Category)
